Personalized Message

Where do I add my personalized message for the box recipient?

Please type a note for your recipient in the specified box on the Product page (limit 200 characters). Your personal message should be typed before adding your box to the cart. If you have already placed your order and missed this step, please reply to your confirmation email or message us at soothingsoulsbox@gmail.com with your order number and your personalized message. We will do our best to add your message before shipping your gift.


Shipping and Delivery

Where does Soothing Souls ship from?

Our boxes ship from Minnesota.

When will my box arrive?

You will receive a tracking number via email once your order has been processed and shipped. Our boxes are individually assembled with your personal card. We are currently processing all orders within 2-5 business days and boxes are shipped out Mondays - Fridays.

We make every effort to get your package to the recipient as quickly as possible. Soothing Souls is not responsible for delays after your order has shipped, however, we work with customers individually to resolve any issues that may arise. If your package is stalled in transit, you can make a claim with USPS. Typically this resolves transit delays within 10 days of the claim.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time we do not offer international shipping outside of the U.S.. This is something we are considering for the future.

I need to change my order’s shipping address and it hasn’t shipped yet.

Please contact us as soon as possible at soothingsoulsbox@gmail.com with your order number found in your confirmation email. If the order has not been sent out we will try our best to accommodate.

I need to change my order’s shipping address and it has already shipped.

Please contact USPS directly with your tracking number and address information. You may be able to change your shipping address while it is still in transit. Unfortunately after your order has shipped, Soothing Souls cannot change destinations.

Shipping appearance:

Each box is hand-packed with care and designed to arrive with a beautiful presentation from the inside out. The boxes shown in our store will be shipped inside an exterior shipping box to ensure your gift remains pristine and undamaged during transit. There are no receipts or pricing listed anywhere on our boxes for the recipient to see. 

How will I know when the recipient receives their box?

We provide a USPS tracking number sent to you via email after your order has shipped. Enter that number HERE to track your order and see when it is delivered.

An item in my order arrived broken or missing.

If the items in your order did not arrive safely or meet our high standards, please reach out to us directly at soothingsoulsbox@gmail.com and we will do what we can to make it right.

My tracking number displays “delivered” but my recipient never got their box.

If the tracking information has reported a successful delivery but your recipient can’t locate their box, we will do everything we can to inquire with USPS about your order. We first recommend you check all exterior doors and any locations where the package could be placed. This is a rare occurrence and can be due to a number of scenarios including theft of the package. Unfortunately we cannot take responsibility for missing or lost packages and do not provide refunds or replacements in these instances. You can always contact USPS at 1-800-222-1811 as they can offer more information about the delivery scan and escalate an investigation on your behalf.

What is your cancellation/refund policy?

Due to the personalization and nature of our products, all Soothing Souls sales are final after shipping. We do not issue refunds or cancellations once your order has been picked up by USPS. To request an order cancellation prior to shipping, please let us know by emailing us at soothingsoulsbox@gmail.com.

Can I personalize the items in a box?

Our items are hand-curated to fit neatly and protected in our boxes. We also want to maintain consistent shipping weights to keep costs at a flat rate for our customers. Because of this, we currently do not offer the option to swap or add items to Soothing Souls boxes.

What type of seeds are in the tree and pet boxes?


The seeds are wildflowers.

What is an Intentional Breathing Device and how does it work?

Breathing through this device elongates your breath exhales to assist in the practice of conscious breathing. This works by intentionally extending your exhalation to trigger the parasympathetic system to calm your mind and body. Breathing in this way combats anxiety by lowering the heart rate, stress hormones, and blood pressure, which in turn relaxes muscles and increases lung volume.

This device is completely silent during breath work. It is designed as a necklace to be wearable for daily use. Stainless steel, washable. Instructions are included in our boxes.

What does vegan leather mean? 

Vegan leather is a replication leather that isn’t made with animal products. It is plant-based and made from sustainable sources. Our vegan leather journals are incredibly durable with a luxurious finish. Vegan leather is resistant to stain, fade, water, and UV light.
